Hi, I'm Pete

Worried about your child’s anxiety, big emotions, or struggles at school?

I specialise in helping autistic and ADHD children, teens, and their families find calm, confidence, and practical coping tools.

Parenting a neurodivergent child can be joyful, but it can also be exhausting, confusing, and isolating. You may feel like you’ve tried everything — yet the anxiety, meltdowns, or challenges keep coming. You’re not alone, and support is available.

I create a safe, calm, and creative space where children and teens can explore their feelings in ways that feel natural to them — through talking, art, play, or sensory activities. Sessions are flexible and tailored to each person’s needs and strengths, whether that means gentle emotional support or practical strategies for daily challenges.

Sessions are available in my welcoming therapy room in Scunthorpe, at home, online, or outdoors.

I work at the pace that feels right for your child — no rushing, no pressure.

As a neurodivergent therapist myself, I understand both the personal and professional sides of navigating the world differently.

I value each person’s uniqueness and work collaboratively with families to create real, lasting change.

Lucie Algar

“My son was in a bad way. He had been through some trauma, diagnosed with level 2 Autism, had severe anxiety and school refusal. He was seen by pete who went above and beyond for us. He was always on the other end of a phone, supported both of us through my son's diagnosis and was the only person who supported my parental choices rather than questioning them. If we didn't have the

support from Pete I dont think we will be where we are now.“

Shelley

“Thank you for your help, it has allowed me the time to process and reflect on my circumstances. “

Brogan

“We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done and for the fun and smile you have given Finn too when he's comes he's met some amazing people because of what you do and you leave footprints forever.“
